If you’ve already heard of the French skincare brand Filorga, then congratulations – you were better informed than I was. For me, it was a completely new discovery while browsing Elnino. But before I get into how I pampered my face, allow me a few lines about the brand itself. Because to really understand Filorga, you need some background.
Filorga is a professional skincare line well known in the world of anti-ageing treatments. In 2007, they launched their first product range suitable for at-home use, not just specialized clinics. The range is called Medi-Cosmetique® and it’s designed to deliver non-invasive yet effective solutions to those who dream of firm, plump, glowing skin with fewer wrinkles.
Two things convinced me to test the products. First – the product descriptions. I mean, the Time-Zero serum (how cool is that name?), the Lift-Structure day cream, and especially the Optim-Eyes eye cream. You just have to read them to get it. And second – a blog post by Teta z Prahy where I found a review of the Time-Filler night cream. Thanks to that post, I’ve already marked the cream to be notified as soon as it’s back in stock on Elnino.
And now – after five weeks of intense testing – here’s what I think.
Honestly, if Filorga was looking for a new brand ambassador, I’d volunteer on the spot! I’m blown away. Seriously. I’m already eyeing more products to complete the routine (specifically the night cream). This skincare has everything I love – the scent, texture, how it feels on the skin, the visible and convincing effects, and the overall joy of using it. And I’m still not bored of it, which is unheard of – especially after I’ve already written a review!

Optim-Eyes Eye Cream for Dark Circles
I use it daily, morning and night. Nothing else, just this one. I’m the type of person who, if I don’t sleep well, looks like a week-old corpse accidentally ploughed up by a tractor (Jo Nesbø remains at the top of my reading list and my imagination reflects that). With regular use, this cream not only lightened my dark circles but significantly reduced puffiness too. Normally, I still look half-asleep around 1 p.m. Not with this one.

Instant Results
It’s a huge difference. You can SEE it. None of that “maybe”, “I think it might”, “it seems like…” nonsense. This cream works. Period. Compared to this, the caffeine-packed 100% Pure or night creams by Dulcia feel like Fred Flintstone’s car next to a fully loaded Ferrari. And brands like Evergetikon, Aromatica, REN, Eco by Sonya? Filorga wipes the floor with them. This is hands-down the best eye cream I’ve ever used.
Texture
What I love is that the cream is lightweight and non-greasy, and using it is totally hassle-free. No need to wait for it to absorb. You just apply and go. Even on the eyelids! Plus, it has a very light, non-irritating fragrance (I detect bergamot) that doesn’t bother my sensitive eyes at all.
Test Results
I’ve written many times on my blog that this eye cream is the one – only to be proven wrong. But now? If anyone asks me for the best eye cream I’ve ever tried, I’ll shout Filorga Optim-Eyes without hesitation. And trust me, I’ve tested more than a few. Oh – and bonus – I’m saving on concealer. I used to never go out without covering my under-eye circles. Even if concealer (hello, Christian Dior Forever Skin Corrector, you precious gem) was the only makeup I wore. Now? I honestly don’t bother.
Sometimes I forget to use anything at all because the mirror doesn’t reflect anything that needs fixing. Maybe just a tiny dab of YSL Touche Éclat in the inner corner – just for a touch of brightness, not coverage. That’s it.
Time-Zero Serum & Lift-Structure Day Cream
Time-Zero serum promises to smooth out wrinkles and stop new ones from forming. It supposedly tackles four types of wrinkles – deep, expression, surface, and fatigue-related.
The Lift-Structure day cream is designed to rejuvenate the skin and fight sagging. It should even out your skin tone, plump up fine lines and wrinkles, and provide an immediate lifting effect.
Why am I reviewing both together? Because honestly, I can’t tell which one is doing the magic – the serum, the cream, or the combo. I use both at the same time, and I’m not about to split them up just for science.
Time-Zero Serum
It has a light, cloud-like texture and the same soft scent as the eye cream. Compared to Optim-Eyes, the serum is thinner and even more lightweight. It absorbs beautifully, doesn’t leave a greasy or tight feeling, and just feels comfortable. I don’t know how else to describe it. You don’t need to wait for it to “settle” – you can immediately follow with the day cream.

Anti-Age Day Cream
Out of the three products, this one has the strongest scent – but it’s still subtle and not at all annoying. All of them share a bergamot tone, which – for some reason – I find incredibly soothing. The cream itself is richer in texture and kind of… gelatinous? Like, it has that thick, dense feel when you scoop it out. But it doesn’t impact application or comfort at all.

My Final Thoughts
I use both the serum and cream every morning. In the evening, I use the serum and another night cream (not Filorga – at least for now). My skin looks great – apart from a random three-day breakout from a new cream I was testing. It’s not tight, dry, oily, or clogged. It just looks healthy and radiant. [And yes, I always feel weirdly smug writing that 😄]
A note for anyone who’s been reading my blog for a while – I no longer have “dry, parched skin.” That’s ancient history. I realized I was just using the wrong products for years. Ten years of blogging and that’s my big revelation. Honestly? I should just close the shop now. But hey – better late than later, right?
So – Is It Worth It?
Let me wrap it up this way: not only can I see myself sticking with Filorga for the long haul, but I’m also already planning to expand my routine with more of their products. I honestly can’t remember being this impressed with any skincare line – not just because of the results, but because of how much I enjoy using it. Filorga, you had me at “Time-Zero”.
Any questions?
