I’m not sure whether this is good or bad news, but I just found out that Caudalie is available in Müller in Zadar. And they’ve got such a glorious selection that I seriously need three more faces to try everything! This brand totally stole my heart—and my skin. I fell for it just like I once did with L’Occitane, which, fun fact, is what inspired me to start blogging in the first place. That’s how big of a love story we’re talking about here!
So far, I’ve been trying out a little mix of Caudalie skincare. If you haven’t already, check out my previous two reviews. The first one covered their grape water, toner, hydrating mask, and exfoliator. The second dove into their two face serums (SOS and Vitamin C) and the night cream. And today? We’re adding three more goodies to the mix: the Vinoperfect Day Cream, the Detox Mask, and the Glycolic Peel Mask. Ready for some thoughts?

Glycolic Peel Mask
Don’t get me wrong—I like physical scrubs. They definitely have their place, especially when you need a quick refresh in under two minutes without irritating your skin. But once you try a peel with AHA acids… girl, there’s no going back. Unless you have sensitive skin, in which case, maybe don’t go all-in just yet.
So what does this little miracle do? It’s perfect for impatient souls like me who want instant results and a full-on glow in ten minutes flat. This mask brightens, evens out skin tone, removes dead skin cells and impurities, and smooths out your complexion. I swear, you’ll look like you just stepped out of a fancy facial. The effect is that real. If your skin can tolerate AHAs, pop this baby on your shopping list.

As for sensitive skin—why the caution? Mine is somewhere between dry and normal, depending on the day. I’m no expert, that’s just how it feels. I apply the mask to clean, makeup-free skin and leave it on for ten minutes—no longer. Unlike nourishing or hydrating masks that I might leave on for half an hour while watching Netflix, this one means business. When I rinse it off, my skin does tingle and turn a little red, but it calms down within 2–3 minutes and leaves behind a smooth, radiant glow.
In short: wow. My skin looked instantly plump, luminous, fresh, and smooth—as if I’d peeled away a dull grey veil. It made me want to use the mask twice a day. Which, of course, would be a terrible idea. Twice a week max! If you want more frequent results, switch it up with other masks—like the one I tried next.
Detox Face Mask
This mask purifies your skin, absorbs excess oil, tightens pores, and leaves your complexion refreshed and bright. Think of it as a morning espresso for your face—literally. It contains grapevine extract and coffee. The caffeine helps reduce redness, acts as an antioxidant, and boosts microcirculation. So yeah. In one hand: coffee. In the other: Caudalie mask. Now that’s how you start a day.

Apply a thin layer to clean skin, leave it on for 5–10 minutes, then rinse. I highly recommend using a washcloth or reusable pad—this one’s clay-based, so it’s a bit stubborn to remove.
Compared to the glycolic mask, this one didn’t tingle as much, although I still noticed some mild redness for a couple of minutes—nothing dramatic. Most clay masks do that to me, especially when I leave them on too long.
Biggest difference I noticed between the two masks? The Detox Mask makes my skin feel firmer and tighter. The Glycolic Peel gives an instant glow—like someone turned on a light under my skin. But using both together? Chef’s kiss perfection.
Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Day Cream
One of my biggest worries when moving south was the sun. How would my skin handle all that sunshine? It’s one thing to go on a beach holiday once a year, and another to live by the sea full-time.
So I became religious about sunscreen—always applying it as the final step in my morning routine, after serum and day cream (neither of which contain SPF). Only then do I add a bit of concealer or powder if I feel like it.
I’m not obsessive about it—if I forget to apply sunscreen, I don’t panic. But it’s a fact (and science backs this up): sun exposure is the #1 cause of premature aging. Sunscreen can help prevent a lot of that, from early fine lines to stubborn dark spots.

Now, I don’t mind freckles—those I actually love. They’re cute, and ever since I went redhead, I kind of adore them. But dark spots? No thanks. Especially the ones that pop up on injured skin—like cat scratches (fellow cat moms, you know!), scrapes, or burns. I treat them immediately, of course, but sometimes marks still linger.
So when I saw Caudalie had a line specifically targeting dark spots, I knew I had to give it a go.
I’ve already reviewed the night cream, but the day version joined my routine only recently. It’s much lighter than the night cream, absorbs quickly, and leaves no greasy residue—exactly what I want in a daytime moisturizer. This is how I picture the perfect day/night duo: the night cream is richer and comforting, while the day cream is light as a cloud.
And honestly? When I use both together, the results are noticeable. My skin looks more even, glowy, and healthy. Even if I roll out of bed looking like a crumpled napkin, my face still looks fresh—no zombie vibes in sight. 😉
Final Thoughts
I know I’m repeating myself, but I really love Caudalie. If skincare has started feeling like a boring chore lately, give this brand a chance. There’s something about that Bordeaux vineyard magic—it’s like splashing your face with liquid joy twice a day. 🍇✨
