Funny how makeup priorities change over time, isn’t it? I used to have a meltdown if my skin looked patchy or if someone noticed I was blushing. A pimple on my forehead? I wasn’t leaving the house! Forgetting mascara? Oh dear, tragedy of the highest order—I’d look like a sickly raccoon! But no matter how far back I scroll through my teenage multiverse, one thing I never cared about was… brows. Plucking them? [Big UNFORTUNATELY, yeah.] Sure. But filling them in with a pencil or powder? Never crossed my mind.
And yet—just like mascara—a well-shaped brow works miracles. It instantly makes you look fresh, polished, and more awake. And it does so much faster (and with way less effort) than any fancy foundation ever could.
My personal brow icon? Lily Collins in Emily in Paris. Her brows are beyond beautiful—youthful, elegant, and effortless. They suit the French-chic vibe of the show perfectly and capture what we’re all secretly going for: waking up looking that good, like we didn’t lift a finger.
I’ve gone through many brow products in my life, each time convinced this one’s it, the one true love, never to be replaced again. [Yeah right… tell me another fairy tale!] I’ve tried powders, pencils, pens, tinted gels—you name it. Some were hits, others misses. If you’re curious, check out the “Brows” section on my blog to see my brow journey through time.

For today’s review, I picked a duo from the Lithuanian brand Uoga Uoga: their Taupe Brow Pomade (Medium Brown) and double-ended brow brush. If you’re impatient, go ahead and scroll down to the before/after photos and throw these two gems straight into your cart. Seriously. This combo is so good you could open your own Brow Bar. The results are that professional—even if you’re a total beginner!

Uoga Uoga Double-Ended Brow Brush
I debated for quite a while whether I really needed a brush that costs almost €16. I mean, I already had one from Gabriella Salvete, and it worked fine. What would a pricier brush have to do—gild my brows in gold?!
Well… Let me just say—I should’ve added this brush to my cart a long time ago! I completely get the higher price now, and honestly? I’d even pay more and not feel bad about it. This brush is phenomenal.
It’s precise, super thin, with stiff angled bristles that deliver clean lines, and the spoolie on the other end? Best I’ve ever tried. It combs the brows so perfectly, I honestly have no idea how I ever managed with anything else. My jaw dropped. From now on, I solemnly swear never to complain about product pricing until I’ve tested it myself.
The brush fits beautifully in hand, looks sleek, feels light, and is crafted to perfection—go ahead, inspect it under a magnifying glass, it still won’t disappoint. It’s the dream tool for all perfectionists out there.

Also, the spoolie has some magic material—it tames even the most rebellious baby brow that dares to misbehave. Fascinating!
I always start my brow routine by brushing the hairs upward and checking in a magnifying mirror for any stray troublemakers ruining the line. If I spot one, it’s a job for the tweezers—but I only ever pluck a few! I still have trauma from my overplucked teenage years, and I’m not about to recreate that permanently surprised, pencil-thin arch. When it comes to plucking, measure ten times, tweeze once.
Uoga Uoga Brow Pomade
Once I’ve ensured all the brow hairs are in place, it’s time for the fun part—filling in the shape with a tone-on-tone color. The Taupe shade from Uoga Uoga is perfect for my current dark brown hair.
I start by brushing my brows upward again, then gently dip the angled brush into the pomade. I place the brush horizontally at the bottom inner corner of the brow and sketch short strokes along the bottom edge, like I’m drawing a soft underline. That’s my trick for defining the shape—learned years ago and still the best, most natural-looking way to begin.
Then I lightly fill in the front part near the nose for that fuller, fluffier look—no overdoing, no extending—just following the natural brow line. I finish by adding a little to the top curve to enhance the arch. The whole process? Barely a minute.

What about the pomade itself? First of all, the little glass jar (2.5 ml) is tiny—it looks like a doll accessory! But in the last two weeks of daily use, I’ve barely touched the surface. I haven’t even dipped into the product properly yet. And with a two-year shelf life, you’d have to use it to color in your hair roots before you’d even start making a dent.
The texture reminds me of a pigmented eyeshadow—rich and creamy, but firm enough that you’ll never pick up too much. No risk of smudgy slug-brows here! Whether you use a light hand or press a little harder, the pomade always behaves and gives you just the right amount. I honestly don’t know how they nailed this formula—but they did. It’s perfection.
The Taupe shade is guaranteed to suit most brunettes (and even some blondes!) across a wide range of hair tones—from deep to light brown, even dark blondes. It’s a cool-toned brown—absolutely no warm tones in any light, angle, or layer. I don’t think I’ve ever found a more universally flattering brow color in my entire beauty journey.
The other shades—Forest Path and Pebbles & Salt—are more specialized and work better if you’re aiming for warm tones or deeper shades. But Taupe? Taupe is foolproof. You could buy it blind and be totally fine.

(Image caption: Left – subtle swipe; right – layered for more intensity. See how it works for both brunettes and blondes?)
Longevity? All-day confidence.
And if you add a clear fixing gel, you can basically forget about your brows until bedtime. I personally brush mine through with laSaponaria’s brow serum (which I reviewed here), and I even added a few drops of castor oil. Why? Because my brows started thinning out mysteriously, I panicked, and I now religiously apply castor oil every evening—it truly works wonders for regrowth. Even if you mess up and shave off a patch by accident, castor oil will bring it back. [Tried it so you don’t have to.]
And here’s the real kicker—despite the heavy oiling, the Uoga Uoga pomade stays put. Like, no joke. Waterproof? No. But miracle-proof? Basically.
Final Thoughts
I’ve gotten so used to this Uoga Uoga duo, I haven’t touched any other brow product since. Why would I? The shade is perfect, it’s super easy to use, lasts all day, and delivers salon-worthy results. Honestly, I’m questioning whether I even need to test anything else in the brow category for the next few years.
And what’s even cooler? This isn’t some hyped-up pro brand with a million-dollar marketing budget. It’s the lovechild of one woman—Lena Sokolovska, who founded Uoga Uoga (which means “berry” in Lithuanian) back in 2010. Their products are all-natural, Cosmos-certified, developed in collaboration with makeup artists, and since 2023, they’ve pledged at least 1% of profits to support women’s mental health in Lithuania through a helpline service. 💕
To sum up: the Uoga Uoga brow pomade and brush are two top-notch products that’ll give you the best brows of your life. Period. Or maybe… exclamation point!
